Center for Environment Offers Presentation: Allergies, Asthma & the Environment

Dr. Christopher Magryta, a physician with Salisbury Pediatric Associates, will speak on “Allergies, Asthma & the Environment” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Center for the Environment facility on the Catawba College campus.
Magryta, who has a special interest in pediatric allergies, asthma, and immunology, has studied Integrative Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona School of Medicine. In addition to general pediatric care, he provides specialized care in wellness and nutrition and combines alternative medicine with traditional medicine.
Magryta has also participated in missionary work in Ecuador and Belize. He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine.
The presentation is free and open to the public but reservations are required.
